Stronger together

Our Impact

A stronger Hastings

From grassroots community groups to established charities, we help the local voluntary and community sector build capacity, secure funding, develop skills and respond to the needs of local people.

A network of support

Our impact isn’t always visible. It can be found in the volunteer who discovers a new purpose, the community group that secures funding to continue its work, or the local organisations that come together to tackle a shared challenge. By providing practical support, training, advice and connections, we help local groups spend less time overcoming barriers and more time making a difference. The result is a stronger, more resilient voluntary sector that’s better equipped to support people across Hastings.

If it wasn't for HVA, we wouldn't know half of the organisations out there who can assist our clients.
